DC’s population growth 2010-2017; with a suggested projection to 2020

Where is DC’s population headed? Averaging the the growth rates of the past seven years at 1.98% 2018 should see Washington’s population pass 700,000 and reach approximately 735,000 by 2020. This is edging toward the 1970 population of 756,510.
