Four more deaths, and 35 new cases of Spanish influenza were reported in the Evening Star–bringing the number of cases to 378 and deaths to 30.

The Public School system was shut down; government agencies adopted staggered hours. The commissioners issued advice for avoiding the illness–don’t panic; avoid crowds; walk to work; cover your cough/sneeze.
