The October 5 Evening Star

An alarming 27 deaths were reported–so many that addresses weren’t listed for most of them, as had been done previously. Dr. W.E. Turton, clerk in the vital statistics unit, was one of the day’s deaths. He’s buried in the family grave in Rock Creek Cemetery.
